Common Roofing Questions

Straightforward answers from a Northwest Florida roofing team you can trust.

How do I know whether I need roof repair or replacement?
The best way to know is with a professional inspection. The age of the roof, the extent and type of damage, and the condition of the underlying decking all play a role. We assess your roof and give you a straightforward recommendation based on what we find — not on what would be the larger project.
What roof types do you work with?
We are experienced with architectural asphalt shingles, metal roofing (standing seam and panel systems), clay and concrete tile, and flat/low-slope roofing systems including TPO and modified bitumen. The right choice depends on your property, budget and preferences.
Do you offer roof inspections?
Yes. We provide thorough roof inspections with clear, straightforward findings. Whether you are concerned about possible storm damage, are buying or selling a home, or simply want a routine check on your roof’s condition, we can help.
What should I do after storm damage?
First, stay safe — do not climb onto a damaged roof. If there is an active leak, place a bucket or tarp inside if it is safe to do so. Then call us. We can provide emergency tarping to prevent further water intrusion, assess the damage, and help you document what happened for your insurance carrier.
Can you assist with insurance-related documentation?
Yes. We can help by documenting visible roofing damage, providing photographs when appropriate, supplying roofing estimates, and meeting your adjuster when scheduled and available. Please understand that we are a roofing contractor, not an insurance company, public adjuster, attorney or claims representative. Coverage decisions are made by your insurance carrier according to your policy and the claim review.
Do you offer financing?
Financing options may be available through third-party providers. Financing is subject to application, approval, lender terms and eligibility. We can discuss what options might work for your project during your consultation.
What warranty options are available?
There are generally two types of warranty coverage to understand: manufacturer material warranties (which cover the roofing products) and contractor workmanship warranties (which cover the installation). Specific warranty coverage depends on the selected roofing system, product, manufacturer and written project agreement. We explain your warranty options clearly before your project begins.
How does the Roofle preliminary estimate work?
Roofle RoofQuote Pro uses your property information to generate a preliminary roofing estimate. You answer a few questions about your property and roof, and the tool provides a ballpark figure based on local pricing data. It is a helpful starting point — final scope and pricing are confirmed after an on-site inspection.
How long does roof replacement usually take?
The timeline depends on the size and complexity of the roof, the materials being installed, weather conditions, permitting and crew availability. A typical residential roof replacement may take one to several days. We provide a more specific timeline during your estimate once we understand your project.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, Pace, Milton, Navarre, Cantonment, Pensacola Beach, Perdido Key and surrounding communities throughout Escambia County, Santa Rosa County and the Florida Panhandle. If you are unsure whether we serve your location, call us at (850) 320-8410.
Should I climb onto my roof to inspect damage?
No. Climbing onto a roof is dangerous, especially if it is wet, damaged or you are not familiar with roof safety. Please stay on the ground and call us. We have the proper safety equipment and training to inspect your roof safely and thoroughly.
Can roof work be completed during poor weather?
Roofing work depends on safe weather conditions. Rain, high winds, lightning and wet surfaces can make roof work unsafe. We monitor the forecast closely and adjust our schedule as needed to protect both our crew and your property. We communicate any weather-related delays as early as possible.
